R8 Gordini of Robert Lee

Please find attached photos of my Gordini. I have owned it for the past 21 years and during that time it has travelled 20,000 miles. It was one of the last R1135's assembled at the Renault Australia West Heidelburg factory. The last 2 batches of 10 cars were all painted Daffodil Yellow in support of Renault Australia's Australian Rally Championship efforts. They won the title in 1970. Yellow was the colour of the rally team's major sponsor "Kays Rent a Car". In order to purchase a R1135 you had to have a CAMS Competition Licence thereby ensuring that most of the cars were rallied, and therefore not many of the yellow cars remain. My car was never rallied, and has never had a major restoration. I have owned 2 other R8G's, and now have an Alpine A110 1600S. Robert Lee Australia .
